Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is LOW early this morning and will increase to CONSIDERABLE as the day warms. Wet loose avalanches are likely today and could be triggered by backcountry users, particularly on steep, sunlit slopes. These avalanches could pull out snow to the ground. Beware of both cornices breaking up as temperatures rise, as well as being caught in steep gullies and terrain traps as wet slides occur.
