Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Unstable slabs one to three feet in depth exist and could be triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. High marking riders could trigger deeper slabs in the starting zones of major avalanche paths. Sunshine and warming temperatures will increase the sensitivity of these slabs to human triggers and could cause wet slides on steep sunlit slopes.
