Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow, strong winds and warm temperatures will combine to create unstable conditions. Dense slabs up to four feet in depth could be easily triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects that have not had recent avalanche activity. At the lower elevations wet slides are likely to occur on a weak faceted layer near the gound on steep slopes, banks and roadcuts affected by warm temperatures and rain.
