Highlights
The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE. Old hard slabs up to three feet in depth lie on a persistant weak layer of faceted snow. Although the snowpack has become more stable, user triggered avalanches remain possible in steep, wind loaded avalanche prone terrain primarily on northerly aspects. The surface strength of these hard slabs may make it possible to make multiple passes over a slope before it slides.
