Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Very strong winds at ridgetops have moved available snow onto lee slopes creating potential slides to three feet in depth. At lower elevations cold temperatures and settlement have increased the strength and stability of these slabs, however backcountry users could trigger slides on steep, wind loaded slopes, particularly near cliff and rocky areas.
