One more day of seasonal temperatures and light flurries then the bottom drop out as cold dry air sweeps south on Sunday.

Snowpack Summary

Southerly slopes in the alpine have been stripped with hard slab on lee features.  At treeline, there is a faceted snowpack that is still just supportive but weakening in shallow areas.  No shears found in test pits in the Icefields area.

Avalanche Summary

No new avalanches observed along the Parkway and in the Maligne Area this afternoon.  Good visibility.
