Highlights

The general avalanche hazard remains CONSIDERABLE. New soft surface slabs formed primarily by Sundays storm but still being added to could be easily triggered by backcountry users to two feet in depth. The potential also remains for larger DANGEROUS hard slab avalanches up to five or six feet in depth to be triggered in steep avalanche terrain on a deeply buried layer of faceted snow formed early in the season.
