Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow and strong winds have formed soft slabs one to four feet in depth. These DANGEROUS slabs could be human trigered today or release naturally if significant warming occurs. If triggered these slabs have the potential to run full path. During the past week numerous close calls have occured in the Tetons and a young snowmobiler died Monday in an avalanche near Victor, Idaho.
