Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Pockets of unstable snow exist on steep, wind loaded aspects at mid and upper elevations. These areas could hold slabs to 18 inches deep that rest on slick crusts. At low elevations beware of rotten snow below the surface, easily weakened by snowmobiles, that could slide in steep areas like ravines.
