The general avalanche this morning is LOW at all elevations. Isolated pockets of surface slabs up to 12 inches in depth persist. These slabs lie upon a hard crust on sunlit aspects and on weak snow on shaded aspects. Warm overnight temperatures and expected highs today will produce Spring-like conditions, resulting in an increase in the avalanche hazard on sunlit aspects where wet loose avalanches could be triggered by backcountry travelers. Below 9,000' the hazard is LOW as snow depths are shallow and avalanches are unlikely.
