The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. Strong west winds and new snow have formed new slabs up to two feet in depth. These slabs will increase in depth and size as the day progresses. Natural avalanches are likely today and have already impacted the Hoback Canyon and Teton Pass Highways. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
