Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the early morning hours and will increase to MODERATE today as temperatures rise and last nights melt-freeze crust on the surface of the snowpack softens. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches could be triggered on steep aspects during the warmest portion of the day. Once triggered these slabs have some potential to step down to deep weak layers or the ground.
