Natural moist avalanches in and around steep gullies, and rocks are occurring daily during the heat of the day. These loose snow avalanches have the potential to trigger windslabs and deep slabs.

Deep Persistent Slabs

These deeper layers can wake up unexpectedly. Several natural avalanches have been observed on steep alpine features. Profile Saturday found Feb14 surface hoar buried 80cm, unreactive yet present.
