Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. DANGEROUS slab avalanches up to six feet in depth exist and could be easily triggered or release naturally on northerly aspects above 8,500 feet underlain by hard old snow surface. On other aspects surface slabs up to several feet in depth could be triggered on steep wind loaded apsects. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED TODAY.
