Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Mostly stable snow exists during the morning hours at all elevations in and around the Salt River Range. This is a result of warm days, cool nights, and little precipitation over the last several days. The snowpack is warming and losing strength in general. As the day warms steep areas with a shallow snowpack could slide to the ground. Avoid rocky areas and terrain traps.
