Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE and will increase as the day progresses. New snow and wind will be forming new soft slabs and increasing the load on existing old hard slabs. The weight of the new snow will increase the potential for humans, especially highmarking snow mobilers, to trigger these old hard slabs up to three feet in depth which lie on a persistant weak base of faceted snow.
