The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. Snow from recent storms lies upon a layer of weak faceted snow and surface hoar. This weakness deep in the snowpack will persist and slope stability will be unpredictable. Greater triggers like the third or later rider on a slope could trigger slides to two feet in depth.
