Forecasted warm temperatures may make these slides easier to release. Safe travel practices are always advised in avalanche-prone terrain. Travel one person at a time on suspect slopes and carry avalanche rescue gear. Be alert to rooftops that could shed their burden during today\'s warm temperatures.

Ridge crest winds will be southwesterly around 20 miles per hour.Backcountry travelers will find it easy to release soft surface slabs and sloughs to 10 inches deep on very steep, upper elevation slopes. Most of these slides will be harmless but terrain traps or obstacles could make a small slide dangerous. Sunshine may also trigger sloughs. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW at all elevations with the exception of the possibility of dangerous, hard snow sliding from rooftops as temperatures climb.
