Highlights

The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE today. Weak layers of faceted snow persist in the lower half of the snowpack. Hard slabs up to four feet in depth could still be triggered by the failure of localized weak zones on very steep avalanche prone slopes especially by larger triggers such as snowmobiles.
