Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE. Strong winds have formed new dense slabs up to two feet in depth on a shallow snowpack with a weak basal layer of faceted snow. These slabs will be easily triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects and have potential to step down to the ground. Natural avalanches are possible.
