Observations are very limited though so don't let your guard down.

No new avalanches have been reported this week, but field observations are limited.

If you are going out in the backcountry, please consider filling out a Mountain Information Network (MIN) report.

The upper snowpack is likely a series of crusts with moist snow between. There may still be dry snow on high north terrain.

The middle and lower snowpack are well-settled with no layers of concern.

Snow depths at treeline vary across the region from 230 cm near Mt. Washington to 130 cm near Mt Cain.

Thursday

Cloudy with up to 2 cm of snow. 20 km/h southwest ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature 0 °C.

Friday

Cloudy with 10 to 20 cm of snow. 60 to 80 km/h south ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature -1 °C.

Saturday

Cloudy with 30 to 60 cm of snow. 50 to 70 km/h southwest ridgetop wind. Treeline temperature -1 °C.
