Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Expected new snow and wind today will increase the size and sensitivity of surface slabs as the day progresses. This morning these have depths up to two feet on steep wind loaded terrain and lie upon crusts and light density snow and could be easily triggered by backcountry users. These slabs have the potential pull out deeper layers of snow on very steep slopes.
