Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Strong west winds winds will form the new snow into new slabs up to one foot in depth. These slabs will form on light density snow that lies upon slick hard old snow surfaces. These new slabs will be easily triggered by snowmachiners in steep wind loaded starting zones.
