Highlights

The general avalanche hazard has increased but remains MODERATE. Strong southwest to west-northwest winds have formed new soft slabs up to two feet deep on leeward aspects. These new slabs could be human triggered today in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and have potential to step down to deeper layers especially on very steep northerly aspects.
