Highlights
Warming temperatures will raise the general avalanche danger from MODERATE in the morning to CONSIDERABLE in the afternoon. Weak layers of faceted snow persist in the snowpack. DANGEROUS slabs up to four feet in depth could be triggered on steep avalanche prone slopes especially by larger triggers such as snowmobiles. The potential for these slabs to be triggered and loose wet slides to occur will increase as temperatures rise.
