Highlights
The general avalanche hazard remains CONSIDERABLE. Continued strong winds transporting the recent snow has resulted in surface slabs to two feet in depth. These surface slabs will be easily triggered by backcountry users today on steep wind loaded slopes in avalanche terrain as they lie upon comprised primarily of weak faceted snow. Thursday avalanche debris with trees in it was reported on the Smiths Fork Road between Poker Flats and Crystal Lake. Large dangerous avalanches could be human triggered today.
