Wet loose slides are possible after snow surfaces have softened and could dig down to the ground on very steep slopes where the snow is wet, loose and unconsolidated.
Dangerous wet slab avalanches are possible in steep avalanche paths during the heat of the day. These slabs could fail on buried layers of faceted snow and could step down to the ground.

This shift will bring clouds and an increasing chance of mountain snow showers and valley rain showers to the region. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid to upper 20s overnight and rise into the mid 30s at the summit level and into the upper 40s in the valleys. Winds will be southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the early morning hours and will increase to either MODERATE or CONSIDERABLE depending on how cold it gets overnight and how warm it gets during the day. Wets slides will become a possibility on very steep slopes after snow surfaces soften.
