Strong westerly winds and new snow have loaded avalanche starting zones. At the upper elevations on north facing aspects a persistent weak layer of faceted snow persists on a hard rain crust near bottom of the snowack. Dangerous slab avalanches up to four feet in depth could be human triggered or release naturally on this weak layer.
