Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong winds varing from the South to North-West have loaded leeward aspects and formed soft slabs up to three feet in depth which lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of buried surface hoar and depth hoar. These slabs could be triggered today by backcountry users on steep wind loaded slopes.
