Highlights

The General Avalanche Hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong west winds, and recent snow have formed slabs that lie upon lighter snow, and buried weak, faceted snow. Soft slabs up two feet in depth are likely to be easily triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain.
