Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. New snow and strong south winds will form new soft slabs on leeward aspects. The hazard will increase as these slabs grow in depth and extent. Some potential remains for snowmobilers to trigger older slabs up to three feet in depth in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas.
