Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW. Avalanches are presently unlikely in the shallow snowpack that exists above 8000'. Cold temperatures have created faceted snow in and on the existing snowpack. This old snow surface will be a likely layer for new snow avalanche activity during the next storm.
