Highlights

The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. Areas of unstable snow persist on steep slopes. The possibility continues for snowmobilers and skiers to trigger hard slab avalanches on persistent weak layers of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack and at depths to two feet below the snow surface.
