Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Several days of strong west to west-northwest winds have formed slabs to two feet in depth on leeward aspects. These slabs could be triggered on steep wind loaded apsects and have the potential to step down to a weak layer of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack.
