Highlights
The avalanche hazard will raise from LOW this morning to CONSIDERABLE this afternoon. Cooler overnight lows have formed a stabilizing crust on the snow surface. As temperatures quickly rise today the crust will soften and the potential for wet loose and wet slab avalanches will increase on steep snow covered slopes. Cornices on the high ridge tops have become unstable due to consistent warming and may fall onto slopes, causing large avalanches to occur.
