The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE in steep wind loaded upper elevation starting zones, steep gullies and cliff areas where loose snow sluffs and slab avalanches up to two feet in depth could be triggered. The general avalanche hazard is LOW below 8,000 feet where avalanches are unlikely except for loose snow sluffs and isolated pockets of slab.
