We are still in a dormant period throughout the region.  Watch local snowfall amounts for small wind slab formation in the alpine if we get more snow than expected. Alpine ski quality has improved over the last 48 hours.

Summary

Weather Forecast

Another 5cm Sunday and possibly 5cm more on Monday with mod-strong WNW alpine winds.  Temperatures should remain seasonal.

Snowpack Summary

A few cm of new snow and thin wind skins now cover the mix of sun crust, facets, wind slab and surface hoar depending on the aspect and elevation. The main features in the snowpack are the Nov 27th and Nov 23rd crusts down 10-40cm, and the Halloween crust/facet layer sitting 30-50 cm above the ground, which have been dormant recently.

Avalanche Summary

No new avalanches observed or reported in the past several days has lead to no avalanche problems being listed in the bulletin.
