Avalanche Problems

Wind Slabs

This layer produced several avalanches to size 2.5 on Tuesday, limited to lee and cross loaded features but a wide range of aspects in the alpine. No new avalanches were observed on Weds.
Avoid lee and cross-loaded terrain near ridge crests.Avoid unsupported slopes.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.

Likelihood: Possible - Likely

Avoid shallow snowpack areas where triggering is more likely.

Aspects: All aspects.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.

Likelihood: Unlikely - Possible

Expected Size: 1 - 3
