Weather Forecast

The freezing level tonight will only be down to 2000 m.  Wednesday freezing levels begin to rise as warm air moves in with strong westerly winds, mixed with light flurries or showers.  For more details, see the Mountain Weather Forecast.

Snowpack Summary

In the alpine there is 10-25 cm of recent dry snow on northerly aspects.  There are isolated wind slabs building on the lees of alpine features.  In the coming days, there will not be a strong freeze or no freeze at all at lower elevations.  Tonight's freezing levels will be around 2000 m, 2200 m for Wednesday night and 2600 m for Thursday night.
