Loose Wet

Many loose, wet avalanches today on all aspects to size 3 below 3000m. starting in the afternoon. Tuesday should have less solar input, but with little freeze it wont take much to increase the hazard.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West.

Elevations: All elevations.

Likelihood: Likely

Expected Size: 1 - 3

Cornices

Cornices are starting to fall off ridges providing a large trigger for slopes below. Some of these giants have enough weight to initiate large avalanches that could step down to deeper weak layers and run full path.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West.

Elevations: Alpine.

Likelihood: Possible

Expected Size: 3 - 4
