Highlights
The general avalanche hazard remains MODERATE as instabilities persist in the snowpack. Soft slabs originally formed by west winds and reworked by strong east winds lie upon a well developed weak layer of buried surface hoar and faceted old snow surfaces. Pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth could be human triggered on very steep wind loaded slopes.
