Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Dense slabs up to four feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded slopes at all elevations. These slabs lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of faceted snow. Skiers and high marking riders have triggered many of these slabs during the past several days. Some were nearly caught. Use caution and avoid known avalanche paths, steep banks and gullies.
