Highlights
The general avalanche hazard at higher elevations is MODERATE today. Slabs up to 18 inches in depth lie upon slick old crusts and a weak layer of faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered on steep, wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. The general avalanche hazard is LOW in areas not underlain by a hard old snow surface. Be aware of terrain traps.
