Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. Overnight temperatures in the mountains stayed above freezing or barely fell below freezing at many locations. Air temperatures will rise well into the 40's today. Areas of unstable snow will develop as temperatures warm and snow surfaces soften. Riders and skiers who venture onto very steep slopes could trigger dangerous hard slabs to the ground and/or pockets of dense surface slab up to 18 inches deep.
