Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. Stiff slabs two to four feet in depth formed by southwest winds lie upon a weak base layer of faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered on steep wind loaded slopes by snowmobilers, skiers or snowboarders who venture onto them. As winds increase and drift more snow onto these slabs they will become easier to trigger.
