Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

A shallow early season snowpack comprised of surface hoar, faceted snow and crusts persists on steep slopes that face directly south above an elevation of 9,500 feet and on shaded aspects down to an elevation of about 8,000 feet. Avalanches are unlikely today.
