Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE. Surface slabs to two feet could be human triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche terrain this morning. New snow and strong winds will add to the size and sensitivity of these slabs as the day progresses. The remote possibility also remains to trigger full depth avalanches in steep avalanche paths involving a persistent, very weak layer of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack.
