Highlights
The general avalanche hazard at upper elevaions is Considerable today. Steep, wind loaded avalanche paths contain soft slabs up to 25 inches in depth. These slabs could be human triggered in areas where slick old snow exists. The general avalanche hazard is LOW in areas not underlain by old snow. Beware of terrain traps such as steep gullies at all elevations as snow continues to accumulate throughout the day.
