The general avalanche hazard at upper elevations is MODERATE today. Soft slabs up to 18" could be human triggered today on slopes that are underlain by old snow that is both hard and slick. This old snow exists primarily on North, Northeast, and Northwest aspects at upper elevations. The general avalanche hazard is LOW in areas that previously lacked snow.
