Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. Strong winds and new snow have formed new slabs up to 30 inches in depth on wind loaded aspects at mid and upper elevations. Warm temperatures and rain have weakened the snowpack at the lower elevations. Slab avalanches may release naturally or could be easily triggered today. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
